Reduce! Remember: the less you buy, the less you throw away!

  • Ask your parents to buy big bottles of juice or concentrate,
instead of juice boxes, and get your own reusable plastic juice
container you can fill up every day!

  • When you’re on a picnic, bring plastic plates you can use over
and over instead of paper plates you throw away.

  • Use a cloth bag or lunch box to carry your lunch instead of
    a paper bag.

  • Keep your sandwich in a reusable plastic box instead of a plastic
    baggy.

Reuse! What you can – paper,
plastic containers, cloth bags… whatever you can think of!

Recycle! everything you can!

Think! before you throw anything
away. Remember, it doesn’t just disappear – it just goes somewhere
else on your planet!
